Pruritis (Itch) & Odour Assessment in Allergic Dogs
This study was conducted by Invetus, the largest Australasian veterinary contract research organisation (CRO) with specialist veterinary dermatology clinics in Australia and managed by Orivet genetic pet care, Australia.
The objective was to evaluate 15 allergic dog owner’s perception of pruritus (itchiness) and malodour of their allergic dogs before and following frequent topical application of Enviro-Biotics® directly on the dogs and their sleeping area over a 21 day period.
This study has also evaluated skin and bedding microbial culture population pattern of Bacillus family and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius in a subgroup of the study animals. Atopic dogs are at a significantly increased risk of developing skin infections (pyoderma) of which S. pseudintermedius is a common culprit.
Conclusion:
We saw a statistically significant decrease in Pruritis scoring, together with a clear decrease in bad odour. Furthermore, we saw 3 cases where a decrease in S. pseudintermedius while Enviro-Biotics® . It was also remained constant. The study also documented a significant Increased levels of Bacillus counts confirming colonisation of both skin and bedding by “good bacteria” in 67% of microbiology samples within 7 days of commencing treatment. Virtually 100% of samples cultured Bacillus at the of the trial samples (21 days).
Allergen study In Vitro Lab
Study Objective was to prove thatEnviro-Biotics® degrade allergens, by using them as a nutrient, samples were taken for bacterial concentration (using a classic microbiology method) and allergen concentration (using the INDOOR MARIA® assay,MARIA SOP-001 ver.1.3).
Conclusion:
Enviro-Biotics® can grow and prosper by using allergens as a nutrient source, hence dramatically decrease the concentration of allergens and reduce the side effects of ubiquitous indoor allergens on the residents.
Trial at University of Oregon

Conclusion:
The Enviro-Biotics® treatment exhibited a clear antagonistic effect against the pathogens introduced into the climate controlled chamber – Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Cladosporium sp. Their existence is not incidental as these species are highly popular among typical indoor microbial pathogens. These are known to be harmful to animals and people, able to cause a wide range of acquired illnesses
Medical Clinic D.R. plastic and reconstructive clinic
The aim was to test the ability to create a balanced microbial environment for the patients and for the clinic staff.

During the trial period there were 3 sampling schedules on 6 different locations inside the clinic including the most challenging locations that were hard to reach by conventional chemicals. Samples were collected on day 0 of trial, 17th day of trial and 36th day of trial.
Conclusion:
Enviro-Biotics® by betterair have proved its effective presence by creating a sustainable dramatic reduction (98%) of pathogens (bacteria and mold) in a relatively short period of time and by that a complete restoration of the environmental microbial balance.
Trial at University of Wisconsin
Assessment of microbial contamination at an assisted living facility. One wing of the facility was selected to act as the test wing and was treated with environmental probiotic while the other wing was not treated and served as the control wing.
Conclusion:
Levels of Gram negative bacteria, including potential pathogens, were greatly reduced in numbers on the inner surface of the vent ducts in both the treated and untreated rooms following the application of the environmental probiotic. The reduction of Gram negative bacteria in the control rooms was initially unexpected; however, taken in light of common shared areas in the facility the data suggested the probiotic strains were delivered to the control rooms via the building ventilation system where the probiotic likely also travelled facility-wide as air re-circulated between common areas and both wings of the facility.
Israeli Police Force
Measurement of indoor’s contamination level were conducted before and after treatment, and samples were analysed at the Hayes microbial laboratories in the US. The results are shown by the Red bars on the graph above. The Green bars represents the measurement on same spots 4 weeks into the space treated with Enviro-Biotics®.
Conclusion:
There was a significant a reduction of airborne irritants and a noticeable improvement in air and surface quality; such reduction translated to an improved productivity, decrease of headaches and symptoms associated with Building Related Illness (BRI). The improvement had been recognized by the Police force and its Chief Medical Officer.
